Do many people show up for the 7am EMH?

I just noticed that they've extended MK morning hours on Halloween with the park opening for EMH at 7am. If I can get the family up, that means more than 3 full hours before our CP ADR. Curious what other kind of crazy people I'll see at that hour and if it's (relatively) dead.

Lots of people show up. Then you get into the park and the "lots of people" disperse to the various rides and "lots of people" becomes "nobody's here".

The same amount of people show up at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 etc no matter what time the opening is (that's what I read on easywdw.com and that website is usually pretty reliable). It's hard for people to get up at 5:00 on vacation.

We did 7am EMH every other day of our Spring Break/Easter trip. It was well worth it. We were able to stretch our FPs by taking advantage of the 7am EMH. We could knock out an entire land at MK without FP before the crowds arrived. It was great! There were lots of people there at the opening show (the area in front of the train station was full and extended out past the entrance area), but like someone else said, once they let you in and people go to different lands, it felt empty.

Another plus, when we went in April, it was still dark when we arrived at MK, so the kids got double use out of their light up toys!

Thanks for all the input! I'm going to try for it. I'm hoping the excitement of the first MK day of the trip will be enough to rouse them, and if not, we'll deal with it. Can't believe we're finally only about 2 weeks out!

Unfortunately, it's not hard for my DS, vacation or no. He's always up with the chickens. :hyper:

Although it will help motivate us to get up for rope drop. :thumbsup2

This is us too. I would not choose to get up at 5 am on vacation, but my kiddos get up early so may as well take advantage of it. I would think a 7 am EMH would be pretty empty.

I did 7AM EMH every day of the 2015 Easter week. They didn't have 7AM in 2016.

Other than 7 Dwarfs and A&E there were no waits. At 9:00 we left Fantasyland and headed to Frontierland which is empty until about 11:00. That's the same every day of the year. The crowds that come in from 9-11 all go to Tomorrowland or Fantasyland, hardly anyone goes left to Aventureland or Frontierland.

So we had "no" crowds from 7AM until 11AM. Then we had FP+ for 10:30-11:30, 11:30-12:30 and 12:30 - 1:30. so at 1:00 after we used our last FP we left for the day. 6 hours of the park with minimal waits during the busiest time of the year. We left and went back to the pool, then dinner about 5:00, then bed by 8:00 so we could be up at 5 to do it all over again the next day.
