Do Magic Bands Get Shipped to you in you Live in Canada?

On the website where you customize the bands, it says if you live outside the US you can pick up your magicbands at your resort. Has anyone had them shipped to them?

No. We picked them up at check-in each time.

They don't ship to Canada.

I don't think we have a choice. They give them to you when you check in. We didn't even have to ask for them.

No, the poor little things can't get passports so they would be forced to stand sadly at the border.

Nor, nothing to do with that. Disney doesn't ship these outside the U.S. It's not just Canada that doesn't get them, it's every where else. Lots of RFID products ship into Canada, just bought two things in the last month that are made in the U.S. The reason Disney doesn't ship here is unknown but since they only ship US it more likely has to do with Disney's production systems and cost issues.

I doubt that it's a complex or esoteric issue. MBs would have to be shipped as international package post. That costs $$$$$. Much cheaper for guests just to pick them up on arrival.

Like I said, that's what the cast member in customer relations told me after I emailed to complain about having APs and not getting my bands or the quarterly magazine. I still don't understand why they won't ship the small magazine. They have no problems next-day FedEx'ing me their DVC brochures!

Well we all know how trustworthy CM information is if it isn't something they are specifically involved with. If the Canadian Government had concerns with RFID technology, none of us would have the current credit cards that we've been using for the last few years.

I live in Niagara Falls so i had them shipped to my US post box and then just drove over to get them when they arrived.
