Trip Report DO IT LIKE A LADYYYY....wait what?! Sept 2011 DLP Celebration trip! UPDATE x2 19/12

So…WE MADE IT!

I was getting super excited as I always do on the Eurostar. When the train starts to slow down on the way into the station and you go right past Space Mountain. Now that is when the fun starts!!

We grabbed our suitcases, hopped off the train and headed straight for the bus stop. Now a reoccurring theme in this TR will be my annoyance at no queues in DLP. I know this happens and I expect it but every time it still angers me. So we were queuing patiently for the bus with a few families in front of us when the bus pulls up. The door didn’t stop where we were all expecting it too and what seemed like a million people pushed right in front of us.

The bus filled up very quickly and we were still standing on the pavement. We gave up with the buses and decided to walk. We walked up through Disney Village, round the lake and entered the Sequoia Lodge from the back.

We checked in, freshened up and hit the parks!

Our first stop: Walt Disney Studios Park!

Now Ellie had been to DLP before but not when ToT was there. So she was super excited to ride! We went straight there and the wait was only 20 minutes! Now I don’t know how they would ever deal with a wait time of say 60 minutes as the queue is just not long enough!

And as you all expected, Ellie LOVED ToT!!

I love the merchandise in the shop after ToT, I’m definitely going to get a ToT shirt next year in WDW.

Next up was Rock 'n' Roller Coaster!! There was hardly any queue here at all, maybe 5 minutes total! The preshow before the ride here is different to WDW but the doors are always open so we just walked straight through it!

I just LOVE this ride! But I apparently did not take a photo of the ride photo!

Outside of RnR there’s a picture spot with an ice chair which I believe is the Snow Queens? Correct me if I’m wrong though! So obviously we had to take some pictures on that!

Next up: Off to Disneyland!!
