I am going to Disney the 23rd of Jan to the 29th. Do i really need to make priority seating arrangements? I just want to be able to relax and do what I want and not to be bound to a certain time and place for a reservation. Because this isnt really a busy time for Disney my hopes are that I wont have any problems! :flower:

14 more days to go!!!!!!!!!!

The dining plan has made table service restaurants extremely busy.

I guess if you don't have a preference as to when you eat or what time, you should probably be ok.

If you have any plan at all as to where you will be, I would make probably plan something.

We were there in early December which is not a peak time and the restaurants we were at were extremely busy. We chose more popular restaurants such as 'Ohana and LeCellier so that makes a difference.

I think you will be pretty upset if you don't and VERY limited to where you can eat without them. The last time we were there, while waiting for every TS we had ADRs for soo many people were turned away because they were full for the day/night.

We just got back from Disney this past Friday. I didn't make any ADR before we got there because I wasn't sure how my 19 month old was going to do and if we'd go back to the rooms for naps, etc...

We were able to eat at some of our favs. (we eat early because she goes to bed early), but some had NO availability, even when we called the day before or two days before (Boma, Ohana). I am guessing that the other posters are correct when say this is probably due to the dining plan.

It won't hurt to make the ressies. You can always change your mind.

Good luck!

We were there 1/4 thru 1/8. LeCellier was turning away all walk-ins on Thursday and Friday. Whispering Canyon had no seating on Saturday, and we were only able to get a seating at Ohana on Saturday because we had a small party.
