Do I really need to avoid EMH mornings in Dec?

According to some advice that I have heard, I should be avoiding EMH parks at all costs. Is that true even in slower times of the year? I'd really like to take advantage of that extra hour because my two young ones get up early. However, if that park is extra busy that day, it probably isn't worth it.

I had no problems this past January, except in the morning.

By design it is meant to bring more visitors, so yes it will be more crowded. What's your threshold of lines, crowds, etc? I love the parks when they are empty, but you know the crowds are just part the game plan. Depending on what part of December, the parks can still be pretty light in attendance even with EMH on those days.

Personally I don't see any reason to 'avoid' any time you get in the parks! Even if it's crowded hey it's extra time to have fun.

The only thing is if you dont have park hoppers-which i highly recommend-in which case it is a harder question since the parks MAY be crowded more that day. If you do have a PH GO FOR IT

If your daughters like to get up I would do so and stay in the park for a few hours. When it starts to get really crowded exit out and switch to another park or go home for a pool break and then switch. When are you going in December?

We tend to go to the park that had EMH the previous evening. But, back when dd was younger (now almost 13) we liked to get to MK as early as humanly possible to do Fantasyworld. So, if you and the kids are early risers, then by all means, head to the park with the EMHs that morning. If it gets too crowded mid-morning, then just head to a different park.
