Do I need to buy tickets to get the DDP at a DVC resort?

My DH and I are thinking about getting the DDP when we stay at SSR with points this December. We already have annual passes. Can we purchase the DDP without buying any tickets?

Yes, you can add that DDP to your reservation if you don't purchase tickets. Just make sure you do it before you arrive as it can't be added last-minute.

Yes you can, we are doing the same thing in Dec, staying on points and buying ap's and have already added the dining plan. You have to add it like 48 hours in advance (someone will correct me if I'm wrong). You pay for the dining plan when you check in. Also, as an annual pass holder you can get the dining plan at the resorts without buying the tickets (I think this is a new perk this year).
