Do I need tickets for my whole stay to book DDP?

Hi, I would like to add the disney dining to our 7 night holiday in Nov, but does anyone know do I have to book a 7 day ticket to add dining on, as I can see on the disney site it says can be added to hotel & ticket packages?

We were thinking of only having maybe a 3 day ticket to the park to allow us to do some shopping and other activities, but would like to have the dining as we would have a TS meal every night?

On the Uk site you seem to need tickets for every day of your stay but on the US site you can say have 1 day ticket and 7 nights with DDP. You must have ddp for every night of your stay though.

Saying all of this it is probably cheaper to but a 7 night ticket through UK disney then buy anything off the US site at the moment......

to get it if you booked throught thee usa disney site or used an americam TA,you would only have to add a 1 days base MYW ticket per person
You should be able to add it if you booked with disney uk but length of ticket might be longer
Not too sure about a uk TA

Lol yeah! We were planning on waiting to see how the $ is before we either buy tickets in the UK or at the gates. But would like to book DDP, will have a look on disney.com then!

We booked the one day ticket in the US and then traded up to an annual pass when we were at WDW with the full credit value of the one day ticket.

As others have said, I'm not sure whether that is such a good deal now given the pricing differential between UK and US Disney.
