Do I need a referal for Disney purchase add-on if I bought 1st contract resale?

When we toured in Sept. our guide asked if we new anyone who was a member because they could get $100 gift card (I think that's the amount he said). We didn't buy from Disney, but are buying resale. We want to add0on at BLT. Will we be asked if we know anyone again?

Also, I was looking at some of the posts on 'Need a Ref' thread and a few mention something about tiers or levels. What's that about?

No referral gift with add-on purchase(s), it doesn't matter if your initial purchase was direct from Disney or via resale. If you made your initial purchase through Disney & named a member they could have received it depending on what state they reside in ( some states are not eligible).

The different levels are on the number of referrals you make -- ie., first referral $200, second referral $350, third referral $500 -- not sure if I have the $s right -- but the concept is correct.
