Do I HAVE to purchase an add-on from my guide?

Yup...we definitely had the same guide. That makes no sense with the "Do not Call" list - I'm in Jersey too. To my knowledge, and I think I'm right, the "Do not Call" list applies to companies that you haven't done business with before, basically to avoid unwanted solicitations, not for companies that you want to do business with, or that you want call backs from. It's amazing how many different answers we get, isn't it?

Anyway, bottom line is that I'm happy that I got my points now. It was explained to me that the 100 Developer Points are mutually exclusive of the 100 points I get in December 08 (my UY) - I hope that's right - that's basically 200 points extra for next year (understanding that 100 have to be used at SSR 1 year from contract closing date) - just seems too good to be true!
 
You two are from the same place and have the same guide? Weird. I strongly disliked my guide. He pretty much locked me and FH in a room and told us that when we walked out all bets would be off because we left that night and that we could call him later and try to buy but we would pay full price. While that may be true and I don't know if it is, he was VERY high pressure. How do I go about getting a new one?
 
I would suggest Dan Wiggins...nice guy, answered all my q's, called and checked on me, no pressure and tried to resolve any problems I was having.
I didn't finally buy that way, but I didn't feel like it was his fault and he did actually offer on his own to resolve the issue(by calling around and trying to find a few solutions)
