Have a ressie at a one-bedroom Disney Villa. Two questions:

1. Do I have to pay to park (note, I am not a DVC...just booking through Disney)
2. Do I have to pay the extra person in a 1 bedroom villa? I know I do in a regular resort room, but are the rules different in a
Villa?

Thanks!

ok, book through Disney...

you have to pay for parking. People who have rented from owners have reported having to pay for parking

I've seen items where even DVC required an extra adult fee booking through Disney. Not often, but I thought I saw it a few times.

I switched from a delux room at BWI to a 2 bedroom villa at BC. The CM said we could have 8 people with no additional charge. I’m not a DVC member, so I have no idea if this is correct’

You will definitely pay parking. You may not have to pay an extra adult surcharge tho.

This is correct. DVC goes by amount of people, doesn't matter adults or kids unless it's 8 plus a child under 3 to make 9 total.

OP, 4 adults in a studio is perfectly acceptable!

You will pay the deluxe parking fee but should not have to pay the adult extra person fee.

If your third person is not an adult, you would not pay a fee in any case.

We are a family of 3 adults. In all the times we have booked a 1 bedroom villa through Disney we were not charged the extra adult fee.

At Disney, I have never been charged for having an extra adult in a room. If the room sleeps 4, then we have been allowed to have four people in the room regardless of the adult to child ratio. however i have been charged extra in many hotels that were not at disney (as my children are adult ages.) wish Disney resorts didn't charge for parking like before, but they do.I think charging for extra adults in a deluxe resort would be a deal breaker for many people.

All regular Disney hotel rooms, with an occupancy of 4 or 5 guests, charge an additional fee when more than 2 adults over the age of 17 (18+) are booked on the reservation. You must have extra pixie dust to have never been charged.

You are referring to regular Disney resorts . This thread is about DVC.

I was replying to the PP, who said they have never been charged for extra adults in a room at Disney. DVC is technically “villas”, not rooms. If they meant just DVC villas, then I misinterpreted their post.

But would you want four adults in a studio? No way.

I have done it for a night or two when necessary! But then again, I travel with really easy going people who all get ready quick and have the same travel style I do! I suppose for a lot, it would not work well!
