do I have to get preapproved in order to request a return time

A question please. I was denied DAS 2 years ago. Made the trip extremely hard. WDW has always been my favorite place. My children are forcing me to go back.
Here’s my question , do I have to get preapproved in order to request a return time from the CMs at each attraction. I will have genie plus I am just no longer mentally capable of using it alone. I was hoping to break off from the kids for a while.

Anyone can request a return time but apparently its difficult to get a CM to give you one because they have been told to basically not give it or they get reprimanded.

You may want to try the DAS video chat just to see if you happened to be approved.

Just so you know Genie+ is no longer being used.
The new system is kind of a hybrid between Genie+ and Fastpass+.
Its called Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass.

Yeah, do not count on getting a return time, they’re very rarely granted. For the time you want to be alone you can plan on doing rides with short lines or seeing shows.

And as PP said G+ is dead. WDW has a brand new system that is totally different so you do need to read up on that if you plan to use it.
