Do i have any chance of moving to a 2BR at Boardwalk at 7 months?

I have reservations at OKW for March 29th-April 4th 2009, I am coming up on the 7 month point at the end of the month. Would like to see what Boardwalk is like especially since now PI is closed, would like some options for nightlife. Do I have a snowballs chance????

Does it depend upon date interested in traveling at those resorts?

Isn't your time frame close to Easter holiday?

How difficult are 2 BR 7 month mark BWV and BCV and VB?

Easter will be on April 12, so I think you'd have a decent chance. Call as soon as you're in the 7 month window, though, just to be safe.


To jerseygal; availability at all of the resorts at the 7 month window depends very much on what the time of year is. I don't know much about VB availability, but for BCV and BWV, October through the end of the year can be very tough. The Epcot area resorts are very popular during F&W, then you've got Thanksgiving, and the entire month of December is the busiest time of year for all DVC resorts.

Spring break week but not Easter time, some chance, majority of rooms are preferred pool/garden view and thus possiblity for those. Be aware I am a BWV owner and early July, slightly less than nine months out, made a 2BR ressie boardwalk view (hardest preferred to get) for March 28 to April 4. So even that was still available to reserve later than one would usually suspect.

I've been trying to get BCV for years now during the Feb. school vacation. I got two 2bd at 9AM on the 7 month date. CM said it's getting easier now since there is more inventory available. Good luck!

I have managed to get a 2 bedroom at the BCV mid August for the past 2 years at the 7 month window. However, with the new changes, we'll see if I continue to be this lucky. In the past I always called DBD.

I think you have a shot at the 7-month window but if nothing is available make sure you have them put you on the waitlist. We've had great success with the DVC waitlist and the sooner you go on it the more likely you are to get something. You might want to add the BCV to your options, since it's just a quick walk from there over to the BW.
