Do i get Brits guide 07 or 08?

Hi there, (sorry if this should be in the sticky but wasn't sure!) We're off to WDW for xmas this year, 15th -30 dec, and i really want to get a brits guide. My question is do i get a 07 or 08 one? considering it is only 2 days until 08 when we get back?

I'd think the '08 version as surely it would have the most up-to-date info in.

2008 or whatever is the newest version out....that will be the most up to date...

for most of the guides, the new year comes out much earlier than the new year (e.g. the 2008, comes out in august or september of 2007)..

actually for any travel guide, always get the most recently published version, wherever you're traveling to -be it WDW or china or whatever.......

In the Brits guides updates sticky, Simon states 08 version is coming out at the end of October. He says you can pre order on amazon.co.uk

Yeah the 08 one would be most useful, tho when we went in July i used the 05 version which i got for £3 at a discount book store in Cheshire Oaks outlet shopping mall thingy

Hi Lisa! Yes, as everyone else advises, you should definitely wait a month or so for the 08 version. This will be dramatically different from previous editions (as well as being fully up-dated!) and we have more content in it than ever before. We have just received the first advance copies, so hopefully the main bulk copies (which go on to the bookshelves) will be a little earlier than our usual late-October timescale.

Excellent stuff, was wondering whether it would be worth getting the 08 version ahead of my Cypress Grove wedding in Oct 08, after having read the 05 version from cover to cover several times.

But if it's "dramatically different" then you've just swayed me

This year will be the first year in 5 years that i haven't bought the up-to-date copy ..... I really miss that waiting for the delivery man!
