do gift shops deliver to dvc resorts?

DO the WDW gift shops deliver your packages to DVC resorts? I read on another website that packages were not delivered to OKW because it was not owned by Disney. I was confused by this. Has anyone purchased an item in the gift shop and had it delivered to BWV?

OKW is a Disney resort. Yes, you do get package delivery to the DVC resorts. They usually deliver to the hotel store and you pick them up there.

This is such a great service and can really save you.

A few years ago we bought a bottle of wine in the German pavillion at Epcot and had them send it back to WL. Well, the next day I got an envelope under our door with the wine label and a note explaining that the bottle had been broken on its way to us. They delivered a new bottle the next day and were very apologetic. If I had carried it back myself and broken it we would have just been out of luck, so I was not upset at all. It is SO NICE to not have to lug everything around yourself!

You just need to be staying for another couple nights. If it's your last night there it's not likely to make it to your resort before you leave.

They'll also ship items all the way to your "other" home for you. It's an extra fee of course, but for fragile things or stuff you just don't want the TSA or airport monkeys pawing through it's worth it. We've done it several times with no problems.
