Do Frogg Toggs really work?

I got one for my DH but I have not opened it yet. Someone said that they work to help keep you cool, but do they really work?

I asked my DH since he has some for his motorcycle. He loves them! They are primarily made for warmth and rain repellent, they aren't for keeping you cool. When riding his cycle he said he never realized how cold it was outside until he saw the temperature on a thermometer!

I bought them specifically because they were supposed to stay cool! My dh tried them out at home and thought they worked. I took one to WDW, cut a piece of it off (wash cloth size), soaked it/wrung it out, and carried it in a baggie......I did not think it worked at all, and it felt slimy to boot. I was disappointed after the claims made by the packaging!

Yes, they really work. The material breaths and keeps you dry. We wear them on the motorcyles and also playing golf. I don't think they will keep you cool just walking around DW, but if you are caught in the rain they will keep you dry and comfortable. Unlike regular rain wear or ponchos.
