Do Friends and Family have to be linked BOTH ways...

In order to "share" a Memory Maker do the friends I am traveling with need to be linked both ways? I will be the one with the entitlement, and I have sent invites and they have all accepted and it shows that they can view my photos. Do they also needs to send an invitation to me so I appear on their MDE account?

Since you are the one with the MM entitlement, your friends will need to allow you to view their pictures.

You would need to be friends with Person B if you want to include them in any plans (FP+, ADRs, etc.) you make.
You would need to be friends with Person B if you want to see their photos when they are not with Person A.

But when I sent an invite to Friend A I was also able to send an invite to Person B through Person A without knowing B's email which was convenient.

My cousins and I are going a week a part so I want to link up all the accounts to use my MM, so if person b scanned there band the pics wouldn't link, so I need to be friends with all of them, even if person a manages all the accounts?

Ugh so confusing but I don't want them to have to buy a separate MM.

Even though Person B is managed by Person A, you can add them as a friend. You might need to do this for MM to work properly.

If you go to your Family & Friends list and select 'Add a Guest', you will be presented with a list of 'People You May Know'. This will include any of the profiles that are managed by one of your friends. If you select them to add to your Family & Friends list, the profile that manages them will have to approve the friend request.

Do we need to set up a separate Photpass account or is it all done through MDE now? I will actually be upgrading my AP to Platinum upon arrival at the gate to have the downloading entitlement. I see that as an option on the screen after clicking on "Purchase Memory Maker".

You don't need a separate account, they all use the same Disney account log on credentials.

Here is an explanation that hopefully helps:

• If you are friends with someone and they allow you to see their photos, then you can see them. It doesn't matter if you have memory maker. All memory maker does is allow you to download for free. You can always see the pictures as long as they are in the system, which is 30 days or something.
• It doesn't matter when someone becomes your friend. If you add someone after your trip is over and you allow them to see your pictures, then they will be able to see the pictures from your trip until they are deleted (~30 days).
• Only the person with memory maker can download for free. Everyone else has to buy them. So, I download all of them after my trip and send them to my friends and family.
