Just wondering....
I am pre-planning (or overplanning as some call it:rolleyes: ) for our Western cruise and I was using the navigators on Barb's site as a reference. Are the formal and semi-formal nights always on the same nights from cruise to cruise? I am trying to figure out when to book Palo (I would prefer to do it on one of those nights when we would be dressed up anyway...)

Thanks:teeth:

The Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises have different nights due to differences in the itinerary.

There was a thread earlier today about the Western Carribean schedule. See "Please Confirm Current Western Schedule" at http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=494878

It seems the Western Caribbean formal and semi-formal nights don't change because they're based on the days at sea. (I recall that at one point, the formal and semi-formal nights were swapped, but the actual days didn't change.)

DCL has been adjusting the show schedules.

On the eastern, the formal nights are Sunday and Thursday. On the western it's Monday and Thursday. As Horace said, which night is "formal" and which is "semi-formal" tends to change, but the nights themselves have always been the same, as far as I can remember. I don't think there's a lot of difference in how people are dressed between the two nights.

Anyway, when you go to Palo to make reservations, they'll be able to tell you which night has which theme, so you can decide which night to eat there. Any night at Palo is a good night, IMHO...
