Renting points and am trying to decide whether to use Magical Express or rent a car (if I rent a car I have the freedom to frequent off-site restaurants, grocery stores, etc.). I am wondering if I have to pay to park at the theme parks since I am staying in a DVC resort.
Any thoughts would be apprecieted.

As long as you are staying at a Disney resort, you do not pay to park at the theme parks. DVC members not staying on-site would have to pay like everyone else.

unless they have an annual pass....

parking is free to anyone staying at any WDW resorts & annual pass holders.

We're doing both.

We like the idea of getting to the resort with DME & the lugggage svc., but we also wanted to be able to go offsite if needed.

To do this, we're staying at the Boardwalk Villas, and renting a car for a few days through the Alamo or National rental desk at the Swan & Dolphin.

It's the best of both options! pirate:
