Do DVC resorts give you toiletries? BWV

Heading down to BWV on Sunday (!!!) where we have rented points for a studio.

Will there be toiletries in the room upon arrival? I realize they will not be refreshed on a daily basis but just curious if I need to bring shampoo and a shower cap.

While I am at it, can anyone comment on the hairdryers at BWV? I have really thick hair and I need a good powered dryer. Really don't want to lug mine but will if theirs won't fit the bill. With the temperatures and humidity so high I will probably end up wearing it curly anyway.

There will be toiletries, but not enough for 4 days unless you are a group of bald men who do not shower. Which it sounds like you are not ("thick hair").

Bring shampoo.

Also, they only give you one night of coffee. If this matters, be prepared.

They have a regular hair dryer in the drawer, it should work for you. Standard toiletries. I would bring your own shampoo, not sure about shower cap.

I don't think they have shower caps.... can't remember for sure.

The last time I was at a DVC place - I would say that the shampoo bottle held enough for 3 washes of long, thick curly hair.

I think Disney's hair dryers are sufficient - but with the humidity down there - my curly hair is going to frizz regardless.

No Shower Caps. I have short curly hair and the shampoo they give lasts me until it is replenished. So it is up to you.
I second bringing coffee and filters if you drink coffee. You only start with one nights supply and are only replenished with one night. I bring Maxwell House Filter Pack coffee. It is coffee and filter combined. Each pack makes 4 cups and you can combine 2 packs to make an 8 cup pot. There are 10 packs per package I think. I can get it at my local grocery, but Walmart sells it on line as well. I take the packs out of the package and put them in a galloon Ziploc. They are easy to take

Carrying on our luggage for this trip is getting more and more difficult! Will bring some shampoo and a shower cap, thanks very much.
I struggle with the hair dryer. That's going to be a PITA to lug and I'll be so mad if it's so hot, rainy and humid that I just go curly and never use it.

Just get some elastic bands and tie it back Add a hat and you are good.

The hair dryers aren't good for much of anything. I just tried one again this week and it was pretty much pointless. And my hair isn't that thick iron curly.

We found one bottle of shampoo that they provide is good for four heads (two female with medium length hair and two male with very short hair).

You are going to get the stuff you see replaced every four days. You can pay for more if you want.
