Do DVC owners pay for parking at Disney World parks if they are staying at a DVC resort?
What about guests on the reservation who are staying with the DVC owners? Thank you!
Update…MS said that DVC members cannot park for free at the parks.

You get free parking at the parks by staying at a Disney resort. It’s not related at all to whether you are a DVC member or not.

It sounds like the DVC CM was confused .
Free parking at the theme parks is included w/ a stay at a WDW resort including DVC resorts at WDW. So if you have registered guests staying w/ you in your WDW villa they should be able to verify that they are staying at a WDW resort w/ the theme park parking booth CM via their MB or phone or room key card - whatever they’re using to open the villa door - for free parking when they enter a park’s parking lot. It’s just like they’ll scan MB/phone/key card to get into a park half an hour early for EMH or scan to get on rides after park closing during evening EMHs.

I can verify last week just scanned magic band of guest and got into the theme park parking lot for free. All good.

Their answer may have depended on how you worded the question. They are "technically" correct. DVC members do not get free parking at the parks. DVC members/guests and ALL guests staying at a Disney Resort get free parking at the parks. If you were a DVC member, staying off site, you would not be entitled to free parking at the parks.

The problem is the MS rep knew we were staying at DVC fesirt as she had to make a change to the soelling of one of our guests. We haven’t been to the parks in awhile, so I wanted to ask the question about free parking. MS reps should know that answer and if new, ask someone!

Oh, then yes, they should be aware that ALL RESORT guests get free parking at the parks.

Yes, she is also considered a resort guest and entitled to free parking. If she doesn't have a MB or card she would go to the guard gate and show her ID to verify she is staying at the resort and they will let her in.

When she goes to park shoukd she say that I am the lead guest but she's on the reservation too?

She could! I'd make sure she has the reservation number, a MB/card, and is linked in MDE. Any of those should work for them to look her up and let her through at the parks.
