Do DQ tickets expire?

A friend took her family to WDW last year on a budget trip. As in seeing timeshares for tickets. Fine, if that's what it takes to go. Anyway, they won't be going back for awhile and they gave our family their tickets to Disney Quest. I'd be embarrassed to walk up with passes that they wouldn't take, but I'm not sure it's worth the price, either. Anyone know?

The tickets that I purchased thru Ticketmania have no expiration on them. They are just for DQ and are not on a park hopper or other sort of ticket. Your friend's tickets might have some sort of expiration date on them if they were from a timeshare preentation. You can find out by looking at the back of the tickets. The terms and conditions of their use should be stated on the backs. If there is any expiration date or window for use, it will be printed there.

Most of the tickets given with timeshare presentations don't expire. If they do, the expiration date is very clearly stated on the tickets. To my knowledge no DQ pass ever expires unless it is the "plus" included on park pass expiry ticket. I don't think Disney even sells individual one day DQ passes that expire...to timeshare sales places or to its own ticket base.
