I haven't seen it asked anywhere so here goes....the Hotels at WDW used to have a special TV channel that told bedtime stories everynight. My boys loved them. In fact they loved them sooo much I bought the DVDs for Monsters Inc and Toy Story 2. Do the hotels at DL do bedtime stories????

yes they do twinglemum but its with the princesses...they have 3 or 4 channels dedicated to stories and disneyland stuff...GC has storytelling by the fireplace...you would just have to check for times...its not bedtime stuff...

The GCH storytelling by the fireplace is mid-afternoon, isn't it? We didn't ever make it over there, but it sounded pretty cool!

My boys watched the princess storytime when we were at the DLH last September. They loved it, too, and often in between the storytime they ran Disney short cartoons. We saw Chip n' Dale, whom my boys hadn't seen before. Worked out well, since we saw Chip at the Goofy's Kitchen dinner and in the park!

I haven't ever heard of these story times. They sound like a bunch of fun, does anyone have a link or information on times?

i was watching it today during break. it was belle telling a story :)

At WDW the bedtime stories are on TV on a special channel they start at 7pm and go until @ midnight. They were a great way to have the kids fall asleep after leaving the park. There was a new story every 15 mins ~ Little Mermaid,Tarzan,Toy Story,Toy Story2,Monsters Inc..The kids loved them and it made staying at a Disney Hotel a little more special like the Mickey wake up calls.

There is a mini channel guide in your room that gives the times, I believe, and which story will be that night. Either that, or there was a channel that gave that info, I'm not sure. They were running one story a night, at multiple times. And there were only 4 or 5 princess stories, so they'd repeat the same story days later.

They're very short, basically the princess giving a brief account of her own tale, with a bit of acting out by a guy 'assisting' the princess. They're very cute, definitely for the younger kids.

I wish they would show the ones they have at WDW, for more variety and something other than princesses!
