Nice. So maybe get PVB since your DH wants it, and they could double as SAP?

I don't know how you feel about SSR. It's nice, but I feel no sense of connection to it. I like that you can walk to Disney Springs, but I dislike how sprawling the campus is. Also, the home resort advantage isn't much of an actual advantage there.

Definitely want to add on at PVB at some point! DH wants it for the nostalgia (his first trip to Disney as a kid he stayed there), and we both admittedly love the theming. I wouldn’t mind the 11-month advantage on those rare times we want to go over NYE. And certainly there seems demand on the rental market should we decide to rent out in a given year.

I don’t necessarily want to re-ignite the SSR debates, but I’m honestly not that attached to it either. While I do like the idea of the walk to DS on “resort stays,” part of what I love about our Disney stays is the immersive theming and SSR is just not my jam. It’s nice but it doesn’t draw me the way the Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge and Polynesian do.

That said, we do really love the Treehouses! So when we decided to buy some sap points we did buy some SSR points (we got them for $94/point) to give us the 11-month advantage during Thanksgiving/Christmas and Spring Break for Treehouses when going with family, and sleep around/contribute to CCV Cabin stays when not (or rent out).

Maybe in the long term we should have done PVB, mostly because CCV expires 2068 and SSR expires 2054. But we were looking to minimize buy in costs at the time; perhaps in a couple of years we’ll sell SSR and buy PVB.

What?!! Last summer, I needed to make a $4800 deposit on our resale, and Mason said $2500 was the max they would allow on credit card. I wonder what happened there?? I think you seriously lucked out! I always try to maximize my cc points
