Do any of you vacation at the resorts w/o going to the parks?

My wife and I still have the same 5 day hoppers we bought on our honeymoon in '04. I used to do the AP every year thing, but she's much more laid back. It sort of drives me nuts but I'm getting used to it. Now that we have a little one and another on the way, we'll enjoy our non or limited park visits. Once they get older I'm sure we'll be running like mad :)

My husband & I just became DVC members last August. Then, we took the kids for a week in January & went to all the parks. We have some points left to use, so we are planning to go down this summer w/o the kids. This time, we are thinking we will just relax at the resort, enjoy different restaurants, my husband might golf, etc. Has anyone else gone to WDW without actually going to the parks? If so, what kind of things do you do during your stay?

I saw where BCV has free yoga classes on the beach for their guests.

Then there's Segway rentals at FW, Bike rentals, boat rentals, or just relaxing on the hammocks on the beach at FW. It's also nice to just relax on the porch at Trails End.

We've had AP's for years, but from now on we will getting 10 day non expiring park hoppers and taking our time.

I would recommend the BCV. I've stayed at all three (SSR is our home resort). BCV has the best location and best pool SAB..... You can also walk to BW and enjoy the evening entertainment.
