Do any of you take your pet with you, & then leave it at a kennel?

Just wondering where would be a nice place to leave our dog? We want to take him with us, but the place we want to stay at doesn't allow pets. Approx. how much does it cost? Do they walk them or do you have to? Thanks so much.

I don't know if you're interested in a house or not (we love the private pool, washer/dryer, and extra space), but Florida Leisure has a house that accepts pets.

These folks offer......
Medication and feeding reports are computer generated twice daily.

Dogs are individually exercised in large 25 x 30 ft. fenced areas three to four times daily for fifteen minutes each turnout.

Animals are typically cared for and handled by Florida K9 intern students who are enrolled in our dog training and animal care school.

Medications are given free of charge. Most pets are bathed free of charge prior to departure.

Pick up and delivery to and from Orlando International Airport, All Area Attractions, and Central Florida hotels!!!

I have never used the services these folks offer, but I can tell you they were awefully nice when I asked them for more info about their facility. The people that own it have been working with dogs for years. I feel comfortable choosing them for my next trip, if my sister in-law can't arrange to take care of my Chihuahuas. The rates are reasonable! It's cheaper than boarding the dogs here in Atlanta, but the services are the same.....better in some cases. Mickey
