I thought it would make it easier for us to have a buffet. If not what restaurant would you recommend for us ? We have 2 adults that are not picky but we have an 8 year who is a little picky on what she eats. We want one in the World Showcase area. There are no reservations when we are going for Le Cellier, Rose and Crown,Chef De France, and Teppan Edo. So it will have to be one other then those. Thanks for any help:)

Yes, Germany offers a large buffet as well as large beers, served in large mugs (think Oktoberfest) and you may even have live music, all quite good imho! Waitstaff are often international, German speakers, dressed in classic clothing from Germany. Enjoy!

Yeah- Biergarten is the only full buffet coming to mind in the WS. We ate there some time ago- we enjoyed the overall experience, but the food was pretty mediocre. I believe the first portion of Akershus is buffet style. i.e. your entree is plated, but the meats-cheeses-salads are a buffet.

My DH and I just ate at the Biergarden at Germany last month. The beer was 1 liter, it looked huge to me! The food was very good, sausages, beets, potatoes, salads, etc. I didn't eat any dessert, because we had just eaten at the Wishes Dessert Party the night before.

Give it a try, I thought it was really good. You are seated at long tables, we ate with three other couples, and really enjoyed their company.

How about Norway, Akerhaus isnt that were they have the Princess's at least the last time we were there they had a Buffet..

Akershus has a cold appetizer "buffet" (meats, salads and cheeses) but the main meal is ordered off menus. Therefore it is not a full buffet. The only buffet in World Showcase is Biergarten.

Akershus is one credit on the dining plan.

We enjoyed Biergarten alot. The food was good with a decent selection. It is family style seating so you may be sharing a table with other groups depending on your party size. The live entertainment is very cool too.

Thanks all I made reservations at Biergarten, I think we will like it :thumbsup2
