Do any of the parks ever open a little before the posted time?

I know that HS often lets guests in a few minutes early, but what about the other parks? Do any of them ever do this?

Yes - my strategy for crowd avoidance, but still enjoying the lower-crowd morning times is to usually show up at the gates right around the posted opening time. When I arrive, no one is standing outside the entrances any more, and I've missed the initial flood of people into the parks, so they must have been let in a bit early. The "real" rope droppers will come along, I'm sure, and can give you park specifics on how early and what usually happens.

You should arrive to all 4 parks before they open. All of the parks open earlier than the posted open time except Magic Kingdom, but you still want to arrive there early to get in the front of the line.
It’s best to arrive to all parks by 8:30, except Hollywood Studios which should be 8:15 a.m.

Found this to be more or less correct. With morning emh? Arrive somewhat earlier than posted emh time in order to be ahead of the pack (which generally isn't as crowded as a regular opening time).

our experience back in September is they began letting people past the Mickey heads about 5-10 minutes early but the actual park did not open( ropes actually dropped) until scheduled time.

Correct, but better to be on the park side of the Mickey heads rather than at the back of the crowd.

When we were there mid Oct mk and dhs let us in early. MK was 15 min, dhs about the same. I think epcot was also a bit early, ak was on time
