Do Any of the Moderate Resorts Have Balconies?

We want to stay at one of the Moderate Resorts, but not sure if any of the rooms have a balcony.

On another note, can you see the fireworks or laser show from any of the Moderate Resorts, balcony or not?

I don't believe any of the moderates have balconies.

Cara love the poly, I agree...no balconies at any of the moderates.

We could see the top of IllumiNations from outside our Martinique room at CBR and could be seen from the beach too - but it is over the trees, whereas at POP we could see all the high ones perfectly!

Have never noticed any fireworks from POR or FQ, but someone else may have...and have not stayed at CSR.

CBR is a beautiful resort...when it first opened we had on,y stayed at the Polynesian and wanted to try soemthing different, new and less expensive. We were a bit aprehensive and it took a little adjustment, being used to deluxe resorts, but we loved it and stayeat CBR every year from '88 to '98! Have been back tiwce sicne then and hope to stay agin this winter for a long weekend.

What is especially nice about CBR is that a long weekend feels longer because it is truly like a vacation within a vacation!

As already posted, the moderates do not have balconies. However, the buildings at the CBR have a wide "widows walk" around the buildings.

There are several spots at the CBR where you can view some of the Epcot fireworks. From Old Port Royale, you can see the top of Spaceship Earth and the higher fireworks. We have also watched the fireworks from the Jamaica village beach. You can see enough of the fireworks that lots of people stop and watch and "ooohhh" and "aaaahhh".

The CBR is very centrally located and it never took us long to reach any Disney destination. The theming at the resort is beautiful. Lots of brightly painted buildings, tropical landscaping and steel drum music.

The CBR has a full service restaurant and a nice food court. Lots of items to choose from.

The lake is large and there is a marina where you can rent pontoon boats, canoes, watermice, bicycles and surrey bikes. There is also an island in the middle of the lake. We saw several families having a picnic on the island and just relaxing.

Each village has a quiet pool and white sandy beach. We loved just hanging around in the hammocks and relaxing in the beach chairs.

As others have mentioned you can see and sometimes hear the music from Illuminations at CBR. It is great to sit on the beach and watch them. You can see some of the lower ones from the Customs house at CBR.
