I am specifically thinking of the Crew's Cup at the Yacht Club...like will they be showing the Sunday Night Football game on tv's there? Or anywhere BESIDES Espn Club??
The Outer Rim Lounge which is located on the 4th floor of the Contemporary has some TV's and they have showed various sporting events in the past when they were on.
I am a HUGE sports fan. I remember watching the games from lounges at the resorts. I think that most of the lounges/bars in the resorts will have the games on - if they don't I'm sure you could ask them to change the channel. That is, if the specific game you are looking for is a televised game. If it is a game that has a black out, then I would think that your best bet would be to check out ESPN. I am sure they would have a NFL subscription.
But, since it is a sunday night game you are looking for, I don't see why they wouldn't have it on.
For sure, I've sat at the lounge in Riverside and at the Yacht Club.
The problem may be getting them to turn it on when the fellow across from you at the bar (and who got there first) is totally engrossed in the Poker playoffs!!!
Happend to me just the other nite when I asked if we could watch baseball on a sports channel instead of a card game. Fellow refused..
Well, we can always watch it in our villa but DH loves watching at the bar. We are going to the Bucs game in the afternoon and then checking into BCV. Monday night is the Bears game (we're fans) and we are going to ESPN club Monday night. Just looking for somewhere to watch the Sunday night game. I think I will try the bar at Yacht Club.
Actually if the lounge at YC is like the one at POFQ when we stopped by on Sunday night during a game last November bartenders will be glad to see you.
We've watched games at the bar at The Wave & at the Cabana Bar & Grill (Dolphin pool bar). The Cabana has several TVs & I think they do specials for game nights.
We have watched sunday and monday night football during our trips the last two years. We watched them in the lounge at both POR and POFQ. Hopefully that means it won't be hard to find a place to watch it.
I don't think there is one lounge out there that doesn't play Sunday night football......
The only one we noticed where it seemed a bit subdued is at SSR. It was so quiet, we got in the water taxi and went over to POR (where I usually stay) and had a much better crowd willing to show their love for their teams!
