Do all of the hotels have the ticket desk?

We are traveling in July and need to pick up our annual passes. We arrive late on a Friday, probably around 7:30 pm. Going to stay somewhere cheap for the night before checking in at Portofino. Thinking maybe Terra Luna, since it’s the cheapest. Do all of the cheaper hotels have the vacation planning desk to pick up your tickets and APs?

You would have to go to Portofino in the morning because your room key cards are your express passes. Portofino definitely has a vacation planning desk. I don’t know about the new South of i4 hotels.

We are definitely heading to Portofino to check in, probably around 6am. If I’m remembering correctly the ticket desk there doesn’t open until after 7, maybe 730. We are hoping to check into Portofino, get the room key with express pass and head to the parks for early entry. Debating on staying at Terra Luna or the Hyatt across from Universal with Hyatt points. Willing to pay for Terra Luna, if it means we can get the tickets Friday night. Otherwise maybe we will stay at the Hyatt for free and head to City Walk and the front gate of the parks to get the APs.

I would be shocked if the new hotels didn't have a ticket desk - all the other hotels do, including Endless Summer (I'm surprised these aren't cheaper than Terra Luna for your date). I don't know the ticket desk hours; you should be able to call the hotel and find out.

Incidentally, if you're already going to the gates on Fri night, you might be able to get an hour or two in at a nice low crowd time when you pick up your APs.
