I just booked this last minute today for our vacation in 2 weeks. My DD3 has her own custom Minnie outfit but not anything princess-y...will she be the only one there that won't have on a princess dress or costume?

Not all. It was about half and half last time we were there.

Whatever she wears will be fine. The princesses are super sweet here -- we met Ariel in June at dinner and were thrilled! Have a great trip!

No need to dress up. We went in August and only a few girls were dressed up.
Glad we didn't though because it rained incredibly hard right before we got in, and there is no dry place to stand while you wait.

We had an amazing time no matter.

I found Akershus to be the best meal. The food was good, and the princesses were amazing.

Enjoy

I agree, only a few girls were dressed up last time. This the the best princess meal in my opinion, but we are big Belle lovers here.

My daughter just wore a shirt with Belle on it. Belle was thrilled to see herself and Mrs. Potts and Chip on DD's shirt.

I plan on taking my girls and I'm having them wear shirts I'm having made on the DISign board with their names in princess letters. That way they can wear it all day and not be itchy and uncomfy. That's my plan anyway.

We took dd in July (she had just turned 3) and she had a Belle gown on which made for a great pic with Belle (that is the picture you get in your pkg)! But, not all girls were dressed up, though a lot were! We went for lunch and really enjoyed the food! The cold bar was really great! We filled up on that and hardly had room for anything else! :rotfl:

Thank you all so much! You've all must my mind at ease! Turns out, my parents just bought my DD this evening a cute pink skirt with white tank that has Belle, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella on it! Talk about perfect timing...so I think I'm going to opt for this outfit! Glad to hear that so many of you liked it, we are so excited!

There were quite a few dressed up when we were there last month. However my 6 year old was not dressed up and we didn't feel left out at all. She really enjoyed the breakfast and the Ariel was especially nice and spent quite a bit of time talking with my daughter.

We went last year in November and honestly I do not remember seeing a single girl in costume. There must have been at least 1 in a Princess dress but I can't remember any. DD has never been interested in dressing up in anything other than a t-shirt.

We will be ther eTuesday for Lunch :woohoo: and our DD#1 will be dressing up as Belle. she did Jasmin last time and love the reaction she got from it. made for a cute pciture also.

nope not at all. My dd has never dressed up for this meal except for our upcoming trip because she decided to be Belle for halloween and since she is going to be 8 soon how many more years do I have of her dressing up so I am encouraging it LOL.

We were there in mid August.

My 9 year old is suddenly too sophisticated for a princess costume, but her 6 year old sister LOVED wearing hers to both Aukerhaus and 1900 Park Fare. (So she got to wear both costumes!!!)

Since it was so brutally hot, we brought the costume along and slipped it over her shorts just outside, as did many other families. I would say that about half the little girls there were in costume... neither of my girls felt out of place. And we got some great pictures!

We were there earlier this month & DD4 had a Snow White Dress. She totally loved the attention she was getting & not just from Snow. We had dinner there so I put the dress on her just before we got there...it was soo hot to wear all day. I would let her wear it again.princess:
