We are thinking of taking one of my other DDs with us this time, and need to know what I should budget for. She usually doesn't go with us, so I was thinking of just getting her a hopper pass instead of the APs that we always get. We will probably be going 9/10-9/20. Does it pay to get her an AP anyway? I will have to budget her in for airfare, food, souvies....ouch!

Children are 3 THROUGH 9 so adults start at 10 (for ticket prices anyway.)

As long as a child has not reached their 10th birthday when a pass is first used the correct pass to purchase is at the child rate.

Note, however, that a child's pass can be used until it is used up (or AP expires) even after the child has reached the 10th birthday.

The AP break even point is 7-8 days. Since you will be there 11 days (if you go into a park on the day you arrive it would be 11 anyway), then I would buy the AP. :earsgirl:

as per WDW dining, "children" at the character meals we are planning to attend include age 11 and under! So we will at least save a few $ there. We will buy the vouchers for some of our breakfasts, etc, and I was thinking that I would have to pay adult prices for that as well, but nope! Yippeeeeee! There is a big difference between 18.50 and 11. for each breakfast (we'll do at least 2).
