DMR Inferno. Red Stitch & Window "currently unavailable"

Just as I am about to cash in my points, I see it is not "currently unavailable."

I am HOPING it is because of the code redemption issue. HOWEVER, when I clicked on it to save as a reward I am interested in... it says "limited quantities available"....so I hope it isn't sold out. :sad2: :sad2: :guilty: :guilty: :mad: :mad:

Argh..just when it is in my grasp...........................

I guess I am back to my cheapo inferno, well for now.
 
Arg! I do hope it's only due to the problems with the codes.

Although, I do kind of see maybe them only having Inferno for a short while.

But, I'm expecting a couple movies today, so I was hoping to get my code for it tonight after I got home. :(

I am sure it's only because of the code problems that have errupted the past few days.
 

the theater set is limited quantities too, yet I have about 10 of them...
 
It also shows the Mickey window as unavailable. I'm sure they are just waiting for the code issue to be fixed. I can't imagine having it only availabe for 1 day. Besides, this "reward" really costs Disney nothing, except the price of staff to run VMK. There is no "running out" of inferno. Virtual prizes are a brilliant marketing move.
 
However, re-releasing inferno in limited quantities would do 3 things
- generate $$$ from DVD sales
- lower scamming in game as value would go down
- not "hurt" players who previously had inferno TOO much by not lowering the value significantly (like the few red rockers that were given in the room makeover a bit ago).
 
i'm kind of upset. i redeemed my points for the stitch hat night before last and my code didn't work. i wreote them and they said they would get back to me about it. then this morning i find out that they are all currently unavailable. so now i am down 550 points AND have no item...if they end up having too many problems with this i'd at least like my points back!! AH!

The code you have should work when they get the situation dealt with. I am almost positive the reason why they are not available at this time is so they dont keep giving out codes that the game is not recognizing.
 
Well I had a inferno code that didnt work yesterday. I tried it again today and guess what? It worked! Only problem is that the inferno pin was a single use! My advice to everyone who has a code is not to use it until all the bugs get worked out. I'd hate to see someone else go through the problems I went through. If anyone has the number for customer support please share it with me (It's mysteriously has disappeared). Thanks and good luck to everyone.

But geez! Only one day? That doesn't seem fair at all to me. But maybe if I had been fortunate enough to get my codes and enter them, I would feel as you do.

They will probably fix it in the 3 days I am gone for my anniversary and then run out as soon as I get back. :lmao:
 
I purchased a movie today that did not have a code so I had to call DMR so I could get my code. I asked the lady if the VMK items are going to be available again and she said that they are. They're doing some work on them but they will be available again...Just thought I'd pass this info on...

"fortunate enough.. feel as do"? I think you mis-read my post as a happy one. I am not happy with the situation at all. Remember, I have not received a thing and am out 650 credits.

I DO think that I limited-time release would be a good route for vmk on this item, but I agree that 1 day is obviously too short (unless that was stated up front).

Yes, one day is beyond ridiculous. On a Tuesday, no less. :lmao: Also, some parents may be buying DVDs as Christmas presents. The kids can't enter the codes until Xmas. They have to have it available at least until the New Year. I'm sure the items will be back. The buying power of VMKers will be shown throughout the holiday season.;)

Good to know. Makes sense to me that they'd take them all "offline" for a bit rather than creating more in-game situations they have to fix. I just don't see them not keeping Inferno as a reward for a while. I personally believe Disney the company doesn't care about the rarity of virtual items; they care about money they can make from the game. And they can make a lot of moola if they leave Inferno in as a prize for a while.

I would write back again. That "they would get back to me" never flies with me. I would persist, especially in light of the inferno code issues your message could have easily got lost. Good Luck!
