DME with a split stay?

We're thinking of adding on one additional day to our stay. Available flight times are not the best for us and we're thinking of leaving a day earlier and staying at a Value resort for the first night, then moving onto our DVC resort. Can we still use DME if we are dropping off and picking up at different resorts?

Yes you can. In fact, when we first used DME last year, we all arrived at one resort together, then dh left after 4 days with us, then dd and I moved to a different resort to end our trip. We all traveled with DME and there were no mess ups!!! Just be sure to give them all the correct info...flights, resorts. The other thing to be aware of is that when you transfer your luggage from resort to resort, it can take quite awhile. So, be prepared to not get your luggage at the resort you are moving to until late afternoon, possibly even later. The Value resorts don't transfer as often.

Thanks... that's a relief. But I wasn't even thinking about having them transfer our luggage!! I guess that would be a good idea. There's just 3 of us, and we'll probably only have one bag each. I was thinking we'd get up early, checkout, catch a bus to the nearest park, then catch the next bus back to our new resort to check in, then check the luggage with bell services. I guess the luggage transfer would be much easier. Thanks!!

Just a bit of info....you can't take any luggage type stuff on the buses, so plan on transfering it. It's very easy to do. Just call the luggage folk, aka bell services, the morning you are leaving, they will ask you what time to pick up your bags, and off you go!
