DME when staying at different hotels

We could not get the hotel we wanted for the entire stay at Disney, so we are staying at two different Disney hotels. Can we still use Disney Magical Express? We will be flying on a participating airline.

Yes you can use DME, you will have to call to make the reservation and they will probably have to book two seprate reservations but it is okay. Anyone flying in or out of MCO can use DME, participating airline only matters when checking in and checking your baggage at the resort.

No problem. DME can be used roundtrip, one-way inbound, or one-way outbound, regardless of airline.

So just make a one-way inbound reservation for your first Disney resort. And make a one-way outbound reservation for your second Disney resort. Each DME reservation should reference the corresponding resort reservation number.

Because you are flying on an airline that participates in Resort Airline Check-in, you have that option available to you when it's time to fly home (unless your flight is too early in the morning).

Exactly what Horace Horsecollar said, and we are doing this and just got our DME vouchers in the mail...we have two separate voucher booklets linked to each of the different resort reservation numbers. They will arrive in the mail separately.

It's easy to modify your DME reservation back to the airport, at least a day before check out at the second resort.

Actually you run into fewer problems if you wait until you get there before making changes or corrections to the DME trip back to the airport.

It appears from the way the question was asked that the OP didn't make their DME reservation yet so they won't be modifying anything. All they have to do is call DME to make the reservation and tell the CM that they are leaving from a diffierent resort than they are arriving at and they won't have a problem I did this it is easy.
