DME...try answering this...

Ok here is our delema with DME...

There are 5 people going on this trip including myself. 4 of us are flying together and arriving in Orlando in the early afternoon. We are taking DME and have already received our luggage tags etc. We leave this Sunday. Here is the issue, the 5th person is flying in on their own, and coming in that night. The 5th person just decided to join us on this trip, so I still need to call Disney and add her to the reservation. However, will she still be able to take DME even though she is coming in at a different time on a completely dif airline?

Yes, as long as she is on the reservation, she can take DME.

Yes. If you get a CM that tells you differently, try another CM. I booked POP yesterday and tried to add DME. When I told the CM that I was arriving on Monday, but dh and dd were arriving late Tuesday, she told me I wouldn't be able to have them use DME!!! That we all had to arrive at the same time. I told her that wasn't correct and she asked if I would like to hold while she checked it out. I told her no, that I would call DME directly. When the lady at DME finally stopped laughing, she told me to have the CRO people call them directly if they had any issues...that once again, the CM didn't have the correct info. As she said....every person staying at a WDW resort gets a ride to the resort, and a ride back to the airport...doesn't matter if the three of us arrive on three different days.
So, I have to call back today and make my DME reservations...hopefully I'll get a CM who understands the premise and I don't have to explain it.

Regardless of what people on the phone tell you, each person should show up at the Magical Express welcoming area. Bring a copy of the room reservation and any DME documents you have. It is a good idea to get the name of anyone you talk to on the phone on this subject just in case you don't receive DME documents on time.

Specifically regarding five people, be sure the room, if only one, can officially accommodate five.
