DME to All-Star Movies

Does anyone know where to find out how long it usually takes to get from the airport to the All-Star resort? And also how long it then takes to get from there to one of the parks?

This is our first trip as a family and I'm trying to plan our days. I'm sure that there is a site somewhere with these times but I just can't find it!

Expect it to take 90 minutes from the time you land to get from the airport to the hotel and checked in. It may be less, but 90 minutes is good for planning purposes.

Once checked in, it could take anywhere from 10 to 60 minutes for you to get to a park. Longer times based on you just missing one bus and going to the furthest park (MK in your case).

Disney aims to have a bus to each park stop by your resort every 20 minutes or so. They are not on a set schedule, so there is no way of knowing if you just missed the last bus, or if one will be coming along shortly.

FWIW - Movies is very close to Blizzard Beach and Animal Kingdom. Once you are on a bus, it is only a couple minutes and usually less than 10 to AK. Epcot and DHS usually take about 15 min. give or take once you are on the bus. Magic Kingdom usually falls in the 20 - 30 min. range but occasionally there is traffic and it takes a bit longer.

If you need to be at a park at a specific time, I would allow:
45 min. for AK
1 hour for Epcot and DHS
1 1/2 hours for MK

It most likely won't take that long. But, if you have to wait a while for a bus, it could. We have always found that giving ourselves extra time reduces our vacation stress considerably. If we luck out and get a bus right away - then it's like bonus time at the parks!
