Our experience is similar. We're headed down on Sept. 24, and received our DME tags yesterday via UPS. Didn't have to call or request anything special.
For our previous trips we booked through CAA. We had to pick up the DME tags from the local CAA office, then a couple of weeks later our vouchers and luggage tags arrived at CAA.
