DME stuff not mailed yet

My Magic Bands arrived last week but came with no luggage tags. I have yet to receive the official letter regarding DME.

When I originally book the room I forgot to add DME/ground transportation to the reservation but did so the next day. Under my room reservation (when you click on Modify) it does have DME as "your requested change". Is this a pending stage? Cause it should not have taken that long. These changes were made more than a couple weeks ago.

Actual trip is in less than 3 weeks. Should I be worried?

If for some reason your tags don’t come, you can give them your claim numbers at the ME desk and they’ll pull your bags.

Dme tags and MBs are not in the same mailing.

If you booked a package through Disney and were also expecting hard plastic souvenir tags, check the sides of the band box.

Other than that, dme stuff comes in an envelope. Sounds like it hasn’t gone through yet. Call them.

Fwiw that has not been my experience in years. The moment I set up dme they seem to send the tags and then I have to hold onto them for months.

So the OP could be in the situation you describe and all is well, or they are in my situation and there’s a problem.

I would contact DME - I know the last trip they came in a separate package from my MBs but within a few days of each other. It never hurts to check.

Interesting. We routinely book DME as soon as we have flights booked, usually many months in advance of a trip, two or three times per year. I have never received the luggage tags right away. I get a confirmation email for the DME booking right away, but the luggage tags come at most 3-4 weeks prior to the trip. This includes some DME bookings through the DVC web site and some directly through the DME phone number.

Our trip is exactly 30 days before arrival. I called DME today to make sure all 7 of us in our party had our rides scheduled. Seven people are leaving at 3 different times and I couldn't do that online. The CM told me our tags would be mailed out today because they typically do that 30 days in advance.
