DME luggage tags if travelling from Germany ?

Hi ,

I just got confused concerning DME luggage tags. We are travelling from Germany to MCO with Delta and I got information that we will get DME luggage tags by mail to attach them to our luggage as well as the information that we will NOT get any luggage tags since we are living outside the US and Canada

Does anybody know which information is right ?

I understand that I can get DISNEY claim my luggage anyway by just supplying them my standard airline tags...

Disney will not ship the DME tags to Germany. You can still use the service but will not receive the tags or voucher.

Yes, Magical Express will still deliver your bags when you show the claim checks at the welcoming area (lowest level, B side, main terminal, end away from Hyatt hotel.)

If you clear or re-clear customs in Orlando before 10 PM, put the bags on the other conveyor belt to be delivered by DME. Optionally (and if the agent lets you) you can carry the bags out of customs and onto the tram and down to the DME area without having to go to the carousels and without automagical DME delivery.

I've read that if you booked with a US-based travel agency, they might send along your tags to you after Disney sends the tags to the agency. But if you used a Europe-based TA or booked directly through Disney, then you won't.

When signing a client up for DME it requires an address. It states it will not ship overseas. The TA would need to use the agency address and then send to client.

It's very very easy to use DME by just signing up in advance and showing your baggage claim tags at arrival.
