I think it's odd that people are getting their DME packages before some who will be leaving at an earlier date. It makes sense to me if you have a list of people who are to receive travel documents prior to their departure, those who will be leaving first would receive their documents first. Everyone leaving June 1st would receive their booklets before those leaving June 2nd, June 2nd before June 3rd, 3rd before 4th, you get the idea, but this doesn't seem to be the case, so it makes me think they have no intention of even trying to get all the DME booklets shipped. They will ship X amount after that they go on to the next group, if you were not one of the lucky ones shipped you go without. Now I don't really have a problem with that if thats what they are doing but I would like to be told the truth up front.
I over think everything and am always looking for the conspiracy and I am probably way off base here but I can't help it, I had to get it out of my system.

I think it also depends on where in the country the person is located. It will take longer to get the tags to someone in CA versus NY (assuming they are mailing from NY). Also depending on how good your local delivery is, that can add delays. Of course, this is assuming they are caught up enough to mail through normal mail, not express mail.

And don't forget, if you booked through a TA, the tags go to the TA and they have to forward them on - adding delay.

I don't think it matters which airline you fly, or where you live or anything. I don't think they have any intention to even try to get all the DME tags out to everybody, if they did they would be shipped in order.

That is true, but my TA hasn't recieved my tags either and has no idea if they're coming and we leave on Tuesday....still time to get them, I know :)

You're right - about "overthinking" things and "looking for a conspiracy" - LOL.. There's no limit to how many different reasons could be involved with who gets their tags when.. Normally people get their resort confirmations fairly quick - I still haven't gotten mine from last April.. :flower: Could have got lost in the mail; sent to the wrong address; overlooked by a overworked CM; or a hundred other reasons.. There's procedures in place for those who don't receive their DME's, so I wouldn't waste a lot of time worrying about it.. :flower:
