DME- can 1 guest check into room before DME brings other guest?

Hello all,

I will be arriving at BWV on Monday, and 3 days later my parents arrive and will be checking into a room I arranged for them.

Since I will be at the resort, can I check them into the hotel before they arrive, or will this completely mess up the whole DME process?

No problem. Just be sure their names are on the room reservation before they hit the DME welcoming desk.

Their room keys should not be issued until they arrive.

We just did this last Friday at SSR and there were no problems. The person who checked in first was not even the DVC member who paid for the room with her points. She was given all three of the room keys, but they did not have charging privilages or park tickets encoded so I dont know if that makes a difference, we also showed up less then 1/2 hour after her.

So as long as your name is on the reservation (even if it's not the main name) you can check in at the resort?
