Due to work.. I will be arriving later than my family and the best airline price and time with my work schedule had me set to arrive at MCO @1:30 am. I know the luggage policy after 10 you have to get it yourself... But do they run 24 hours? I just want to make sure I will have a bus to the resort when I arrive.

From a website about the DME, they stated this: Most of all, Disney’s Magical Express runs 24 hours a day.

Can your family take your luggage with them and you just go straight to ME once you get off the plane. But yes, they run 24 hrs. My dd met us at the BWVs last year and arrived about 2 am. The busses make much more stops late in the evening than during the day. Its almost like they fill a bus and then they just go where all are staying. Not dedicated busses for each resort like during the day.

Occasionally, late at night, a Mears passenger auto or van might be substituted for a Magical Express bus (also owned and operated by Mears). However you do not have to feel guilty and hand over a taxi style tip even if you are the only person on board. The driver should identify himself as for Magical Express (or other provider, if different, named on a freshly printed voucher given to you that night) without your asking first.

Occasionally, late at night, there is no one at the DME welcoming area. There should be a sign with a phone number to call.

It's customary to tip a shuttle bus driver, even one offering a free service, if assistance with luggage is provided. Guests arriving so late as be offered van or taxi service would not be able to use Disney's magical luggage delivery.
