DLRP via Eurostar AND Tesco Clubcard Vouchers?

Hi All,

Anyone travelled to DLRP via Eurostar having used Tesco Clubcard vouchers?.

I realise that DLRP isn't an allowable destination with the offer, but would be interested to hear from anyone that used got to DLRP using Eurostar and Tesco Clubcard Vouchers.

How'd you do it?.
How does the offer work?.

Can't help you with the Eurostar bit but I do know you need to allow at least 4 weeks to process the vouchers as my mate tried to use hers for our trip in June but it was too close to when we were leaving. I think you just phone the clubcard line up and take it form there.

The only way to get a direct train from Waterloo/Ashford to DLRP would be to go via the Tesco Clubcard deals and the Airmiles site. (£2.50 clubcard vouchers = 60 miles)

Otherwise via Eurostar you could go to Lille with clubcard deals and make your own way from there. £25.00 clubcard deals = 1 x £100.00 Eurostar ticket.

The time that it takes for Tesco Deals Vouchers to arrive depends on how busy the site is, for instance in about 2 weeks this quarters Clubcard Vouchers come out and deals vouchers will be slower than usual to arrive, as lots of people transfer theirs into deals. Deals I've ordered have never taken more than a week to arrive though and most have been with me within 2/3 days, I usually order online. With most of the deals partners you have to have your Deals Vouchers transferred and in your hand at the time of booking, when I booked a holiday with XL in June I had to give the Deals vouchers codes over the phone at the time of booking, with Leger I just had to post them off within 3 days.

I can't help with the Tesco side of it but have read in trip reports where people have travelled via Lille and it is quite "do-able".
