DLRP Paris Excursions

I'm staying at Disney in September, and I recently picked up a brochure for the next few months and it mentioned that they do excursions into Paris from some/all of the Disney hotels. Have any of you done these before, are they worth it?

If you look on the Trip Reports board there's a review for the daytime Paris trip by Ms Poppins and also one for the evening trip by J Marley - if you look in the '2010 onwards' index you should find them easily enough.

I haven't tried them, but I have looked at them a couple of times and each time I'm thinking that it's too expensive and that all of it easily can be done without Disney. It's so easy to get to Paris from DLP, so I would just jump on the train and go by myself.
