DLR visitors, how do you spend your time if you do not watch parades/fireworks/other shows?

My wife and I planned to ride rides tonight, but found some were not operational, and then of course, there there the crowds to negotiate. Thoughts/suggestions/ideas? Thanks in advance:D

Some of the nicest times we've had were when we shared a popcorn or other treat on a bench while people watching. :) Shopping together is usually fun, especially when we browse in the less crowded shops like Pooh Corner. If the Mark Twain is operating, that is a lovely break from crowds.

I agree that if you aren't planning on watching the shows or doing attractions in the evening then it's a good time to do some people watching, go shopping, or have something to eat.
