i just went this past weekend and watched the spooktacular events in DL. this is what i saw.
Fireworks: this is a must see. the sound track was high-paced and was well accompanied by the fireworks and flamethrowers. this nightly spook is hosted by none other than jack skellington and some other villains. many of fanatics that for halloween tinkerbell has been switched with a certain ghost pooch that everyone loves. all-in-all this is probably one of the best firework shows i've ever seen. by the way the show is highly recomended to be watched from the front or else you'll miss jack and the other villains.
space mountain(Ghostly Galaxy): the original ride is introduced to a new character. you find your self going through launch when you notice a scary ghostly creature. a lot of people might be glad to here no lights are uncovering the track like they did for the red-hot chilipeppers. another big plus, the ride is faster than before. or it seemslike it. this is also a must hit ride. take warning, the effects might seem a little cheap the first time, but the more you ride it, the more appreciation you'll have for the ride.
decorations: there wasn't a whole lot of big decorations except for a lot of pumpkins. the disney characters got dressed up for halloween. other than that it's basically the same disney.
fantasmic: great show. it's the same old concept, there's just a lot more animation. personally i'm glad that the dragon is on the stage now. after hearing about it's accident a week before it's preffered opening, i wasn't sure when we would see it. the dragon has changed for the best. also tick-tock is much more animated, and two new faces have been added to the show, flotsam and jetsam, ursala's two eels from the little mermaid.
attracions that are down:
-casey junior
-storybook land
-disneyland railroad
that's all i can think bout, hopefully i'll be in DLR the 31st.
