Not that everyone will care, but as reported on another website:

10/5: Ed Grier, Disneyland Resort President, resigned today with the obligatory e-mail mentioning "growth and change in my own family." Almost like clockwork, the average 3 year term of the past 4 Disneyland presidents expired for Ed this month, 3 years after he arrived. Mostly unseen/unheard for the majority of Anaheim Cast Members, this news isn't providing as much sorrow as when Matt Ouimet left in '06. A replacement is yet to be announced.

Interesting.

Wouldn't it be nice if they hired a whole group of us to do the job? :)

Glad he is gone. If you are not hands on no matter what business you are associated with it will not run smoothly. I could hear the employee cheer over here in Dubai.

Oh pick me! I will do it! I LOVE Disneyland!! lol I'm interested to see who will replace him. Hopefully not only a business savvy person but also a Disney lover as well.

From what I read in Al Lutz's articles, he wasn't even knowledgeable about the resort or an active visitor.

If I was DLR's president, I would be at the parks so much it wouldn't be funny. :confused3

Totally off topic but...the next time you're headed to Dubai, can you pack me in a suitcase please? I'll pay for the extra weight. :upsidedow
