All:

We're thinking of a trip for the weekend after Thanksgiving weekend (November 29-Dec 2). It'll be a quick one and a way for us to get a Disney fix this year and we've never been to any Disney park to see the holiday decorations.

How busy are the parks on a typical weekend between Thanksgiving and New Years?

I have a lot of Hilton points built up (from many, many business trips!). Is it worth it to use the points for the Hampton Inn or the Hilton or would I be giving up too much by not getting the "good neighbor" deals? Anyone stayed at these hotels?

We're a family of 4 (me, my husband and two girls, ages 15 and 20). We've been to WDW many times and DLR 4-5 times. Any food suggestions? What about the special tours? Are they worth it?

Thanks for your help.

im going 25th-2ed its gone be good.
I know they have good sells at good neabor hotels.
The crouds i have heard arnt bad at this time, but also heard alot ppl are learning tis good time to go

The first weekend of December is usually the Candlelight Processional. This brings in lots of extra people.

We went the week after Thanksgiving durning the 50th Celebration and I couldn't believe how empty it was. The lines for rides were for no more than 10 minutes -15 at the most. The Candle light prossesion I believe is after that week though so not to crowded until the weekend.
