We booked the GCH for our four night stay over Labor Day weekend with the "rack rate" for AP holders - 10% off the regular rate. I ended up needing to speak with the hotel because when they sent the reservation, the total charge had reverted to the regular rate instead of the AP rate (they did this when we booked the DLH for our trip last December, too, but that's a discussion for a different time. 
). When I was speaking with the terribly nice CM (who very quickly fixed the rate issue for me), she also looked for any better rates for me and couldn't find any. She did say to keep checking back and to give them a call if the AP rates changed to a better rate at any point in time.
My question is whether we would be able to take advantage of rates that were on some of our nights, but not all of them? For example, if a better rate became available for September 3rd and September 6th, would we be able to call and switch the rate for just those two days of our September 3-7 reservation? I wish I had thought to ask the CM earlier, but the question didn't occur to me for an hour or two later.
